Intentional Living …

“stepping out of autopilot, bringing awareness to your actions, and making thoughtful decisions based on what is important to you.”

That is what you’ll be doing from here on out.

part 1

Intentional Beliefs

Identity Shift

*Beliefs

Your beliefs are like a compass that guide you through life. The problem is some of our beliefs move us farther away from experiencing the life we really want. For example maybe we want to be healthy but we believe we don’t have enough time to work out… Right now is the time to get really honest with yourself. What’s really important to you? What do you want to experience? Now ask yourself are there any beliefs that are keeping you from experiencing what you want to experience… or jeopardizing what you say is important to you. I’ve provided the input output exercise below to help you figure this out below.

Input Output Exercise

In this exercise, the inputs are your beliefs… The outputs are the outcomes you get as a result of your beliefs.

To complete this exercise, think of the areas of your life that you’re struggling in the most, and name 1 belief you have in each area…

Once you’ve written down 1 belief you have for each area, write down what the outcome of having this belief is…

For example… Let’s say I’m struggling in my finances… 1 belief I may have about money might be “Money is the root of all evil.”…. That’s the input.

The output or outcome of having this belief would probably be that I avoid or don’t make a lot of money…

Now let’s do this exercise in reverse…

⬇️

Output Input Exercise

This is the reverse.

To complete this exercise, name the outputs/outcomes that you desire… Try to think of outcomes that align with God’s will for you life…

Then name the inputs/beliefs you would have to have in order to get the output.

When completing the Input Output exercise this way, you’re able to see what beliefs you need to have to get your desired outcomes.

Complete this exercise as often as you need to.

Exercise:

Every morning, look in the mirror and recite these new beliefs to yourself…

Also, decide what changes you need to make to support these new beliefs…. For example if your new belief is that you can balance work and home… Maybe the change you make is leaving your work at work once you clock out… And giving all your time and attention to your family when you get home.
